FAREWELL 2013
An expression of goodwill, a
sense of respect for the senirs, words of good- luck and gracious thanks were
all seen at the Farewell 2013 hosted by D.A.V. Public School, East of Loni Road
on 8th feb held in the premises of the school.
Though saying goodbyes is never
easy but saying it through an incredible culture programme surely camouflages
the parting emotions. The students of class XI traditionally welcomed their
seniors. The quirk and talent of each of the students were addressed to on the
endowed sashes. The flashes of fond memories were remarkably trailed to make
the occasion special.
These ‘Milestone Moments’ were
significantly cherished by class XII students as a call to forge their own path
into the bigger world. The heart-touching reminisce of sweet – bitter memories
expressed the deep association of the parting students. Flushed with confidence
and suitably dressed to occasion they ramped in style to convey their preparedness
to teach – out and grab opportunities.
Sakshi Baliyan and Tushar Divan won the title
of Miss and Mr. Personality. Kanika Upreti was given special appreciation award
and Sagar kashyab was awarded for his outstanding talent in singing.
The principal and the teachers
blessed the students and ease the parting by the value lessons dinned into
them.
Truly, the occasion treasured the
moments spent. The Farewell a- forward, ended with the hope “May the road rise
and we meet again.”
