A Report on Role play Activity
On Wednesday, 10th April, 2013, the students of
class IIIA & IIIB of D.A.V Public School, East of Loni Road, actively
participated in a ‘Role Play Activity’ organized by the school, on the topic
‘People Who Help Us’. They came dressed up as socially useful people like
policeman, teacher, mother, air hostess, farmer, bank manager, doctor, nurse,
IAS officer, engineer, DCP & postman, etc. The children spoke
enthusiastically with confidence & expression, four to five lines of their
choice in English. They were assessed on the basis of confidence level,
expressiveness & speaking skills .The hour long activity that continued
from 9.30 to 10.30am was an experience full of fun & learning for the
children who participated in the activity. The activity enabled our students to
identify with some of the most important socially useful people &
inculcated in them the value of gratitude towards them & a deep sense of
respect for all those people who help us, teaching us the values of equality,
co-operation, co-ordination & interdependence in social life.
