A Report on Role play Activity
D.A.V.
Public School, East of Loni Road organized a ‘Role Play Activity’ for the tiny
tots of Pre primary on 9th April, 2013.The activity was conducted by
the pre primary teachers in the classes itself. The topic for the activity was
an interesting & informative one, rich in value education, it being daily
utility items like books, pencils, comb, & toothbrush etc. which the
students represented .The children spoke with confidence & expression,
three to four lines on any of these items of their choice in English & in
Hindi. They wore a small cardboard cutout of these items, beautifully coloured
& correctly shaped to represent them. The children were assessed on the
basis of confidence level, expressiveness & speaking skills. The one hour
activity that continued from 9:30 am to 10:30 am was a unique combination of
fun & learning experience. It filled our tiny learners with a respect for
those things they use in their daily life as it made them feel their
importance, however small or insignificant they may appear to be.
